Christine and Will traveled from their home of Nashville, Tennessee to get married in the Sunken Gardens of the SANTA BARBARA COUNTY COURTHOUSE.
They chose the romantic Villa & Vine on State Street for their courtyard garden reception, adorned with colorful floral decor to highlight the refined architecture of the space. They wanted to bring that Spanish mission and Latin style flair to the wedding, incorporating Spanish tiles as favors, margaritas as their signature drink, and a Mexican buffet for dinner. Family and friends were an integral part of bringing this day together; a mother and daughter team did the wedding coordination and the florals, and a bridesmaid’s mom and an uncle made the cake and cookies for dessert. Christine succeeded in her goal of creating an atmosphere of simple elegance on a budget. From the minimalist floral ceremony decorations, to her classic and clean bridal look, to the handmade reception table decor, every element fit perfectly with the sophisticated vibe of this Santa Barbara wedding.
